Hello to all my dear friends!

Today I came across a requirement to run a second WhatsApp account on my Android mobile phone. I remembered that earlier WhatsApp only allowed running single account on one phone. But then I came to know is that now since October 2023, it allows to run two accounts simultaneously on the phone.

Add Second WhatsApp Account on Android

So here are the steps to configure the second account.

  1. Open WhatsApp
  2. Tap the three dots on the top
  3. Select Account
  4. Select the option Add Account and follow the regular steps to add your new whatsapp account. (Make sure the second SIM is inserted in the phone)
  5. And Hurray your second Whatsapp account is configured on your Android phone.
